HOW DO I WATCH VIA CHROMECAST ON MY DESKTOP

Chromecast devices can be used in conjunction with Google Chrome desktop browsers to view content on TV.

Note – We do not currently support Chromecast devices built into some TVs. It may work but our player was not designed to support it and we are unable to troubleshoot any issues. Officially, only external Chromecast devices can be supported. Although there is not a comprehensive list of supported or unsupported models, we can help you check by providing the model number to our Support Team.

Chromecasting via mobile web browsers (including Chrome) is not possible on iOS.

From your desktop Chrome browser (computer)

Chromecasting a video to your TV screen can be done in one of two ways: either cast the entire browser or the video player. Both methods require that your Chromecast device and your computer be connected to the same network.

Cast the browser tab

Casting your browser tab will allow you to control the player from the browser, just like you would do if you were viewing on your computer. Only the selected tab will be cast. You can navigate to other tabs from your computer but they will not be cast to TV.

You can also navigate away from the tab you are currently viewing (e.g. The video will not be cast to your TV if you navigate away from the player within the selected tab (e.g.

  1. Open the Chrome menu in upper right corner of the page. Or, you can open the View Menu at the top. Select Cast.
  2. Choose your Chromecast source. The Chromecast will be connected, and the video will appear on your TV’s screen.
  3. Use the browser tab’s player controls to pause, fast forward, or rewind.
  4. Click the Stop icon in the menu next to your casting destination to disconnect Chromecast

Cast the player

Casting via this method allows you to navigate away from the tab that has the video playing. The video will still play on the TV screen. This would cause the player controls to be disconnected from the video and you would lose the ability of pause or scrub using the player options. You will need to reset Chromecast’s connection in order to regain control. You can stop casting and restart.

Hover the cursor over the player to bring up the controls. You can cast the player by clicking on the Chromecast icon located in the lower right corner.

     1. To open the Cast tab, click the Chromecast button in the player. Choose your Chromecast destination and source. The Chromecast will be connected, and the video will begin playing on your TV.

  1. Use the player controls on the desktop to pause, fast-forward, or rewind the video.
  2. To disconnect Chromecast, click on the Chromecast icon in the player and then select the blue Stop icon beside the casting destination.

When casting, control captions

If you’re casting, captions can be controlled from the desktop browser directly. They are not controllable on the TV screen.

HOW DO I SIGN UP IN AMAZON FIRE TV?

These steps will help you subscribe to NowThatsTV if you don’t have an Amazon account.

  1. Get the NowThatsTV Amazon App for your smartphone
  2. Tap Log In or Start a Free Trial to open the app
  3. To create an account, enter your email address and password.
  4. Choose how you would like to be charged: Monthly, Yearly (when possible).
  5. To authorize the purchase, you will be asked to enter your password to your Amazon account.
  6. Then you can start to watch.

HOW DO I Activate IN THE ROKU CHANNEL?

You can view our videos on your TV by using the NowThatsTV Roku Channel. These steps will allow you to subscribe directly to the channel.

  1. Add the NowThatsTV Roku Channel to your Roku.
  2. Click Subscribe to the NowThatsTV Roku Channel on your Roku.
  3. When available, select Monthly and Year
  4. Confirm your subscription by entering your payment details.
  5. The link will be sent to your email so you can watch the video on your computer or other devices.

You can view our videos on your TV by downloading the NowThatsTV AndroidTV app These steps will allow you to subscribe directly within the app

  1. Add the NowThatsTV Android App to your Android TV.
  2. Open the Android TV app and choose Subscribe.
  3. When available, select Monthly and Year.
  4. Confirm your subscription by entering your payment details.
  5. The link will be sent to your email so you can watch the video on your computer or other devices.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE APPLE TV?

You can view the content on TV using the NowThatsTV Apple TV App. These steps will allow you to subscribe directly within the app.

  1. Search for NowThatsTV on the App Store to add the Apple TV app.
  2. After installation, open NowThatsTV on your Apple TV and tap Subscribe.
  3. When available, select Monthly and Year.
  4. Fill in your payment information to confirm your subscription with Apple.
  5. The link will be sent to your email so you can watch the video on your computer or other devices.

Screen Mirroring

  1. Connect your iOS/iPadOS to the same Wi Fi network as your Apple TV.
  2. The Control Center can be opened
    1. iPhone X and later or iPadOS 13 and later – Swipe to the upper-right corner.
    2. iPhone 8 or older or iOS 11 or later – Swipe up at the bottom edge of your screen.
  3. Tap the Screen Mirroring icon
    1. Choose your Apple TV or AirPlay 2 compatible smart TV and select it from the list.
    2. Enter the passcode displayed on your TV on your iOS/iPadOS device.
    3. Your TV’s screen will reflect the screen of your device. Your iPadOS/iOS device screen orientation and aspect ratio will be used by your TV. You can fill your TV screen using the mirrored screen by changing your TV’s aspect or zoom settings.

To use player controls (fast forward, rewind, pause, etc. You will need to access the player options on your smartphone.

Open Control Center, tap Mirroring, then click Stop Mirroring. You can also press the Menu button on the Apple TV Remote.

How do I log in?

You will need to purchase or subscribe first if you haven’t yet.

When you first sign up, you will be asked to create a password.

  1. Enter your email address on the login page.
  2. Next, enter your password on the page and click Log In.
  3. If you have already created a password and it isn’t working, you can reset the password or create a new password. Or, use the email link below.

These steps will allow you to log in using the email sign-in link .
